I absolutely love this veterinary hospital. Both my basset hounds have various issues from allergies, dental health needs and even a benign lump. All their needs were addressed throughly and promptly. My dogs love Dr. Nickens and Dr. Cullen! I also really enjoy the office manager and front desk personnel. Their medicines are always filled quickly. I would never take my beloved furry family members anywhere else!

This place really is wonderful. The staff is great at answering the questions we have. Our puppy has been healthier as a result of this care. And there is a dog store next door we always stop at. Prices seem fair - I don't have anything to compare it to.

My cat is very anxious and shy and this place takes such good care of him. They are so patient and kind with him which I appreciate so much!

My dog is receiving excellent care here. The doctors and staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I find their exam fee a little high, but I’m happy with the care they provide.

These guys are great across the board. Super friendly staff and knowledgeable about the products they sell for flea/ticks. They are always happy to answer your questions and are very quick to respond via email about appointments and questions. I started taking my dog here when I lived in arlington and I recently moved out to McLean but still take her here because I know I can expect great service and the best treatment of my dog.

All the staff were professional and doctors spending really much time for checking and explaining each pet’s to their owners. Everywhere was so clean and my dog was a little nervous at first but they treated her very well and made her relax. 100% recommend it. #animalhospital #pet

Since they opened (10 years ago?) SAH has been there regardless of everything financial and medical (my pets and MY health) and as caring and thoughtful guides and guardians for all five of my pets in that time!

We had a fantastic first visit at Shirlington Animal Hospital on April 25th! It was a seamless experience—easy parking, no waiting, and they even had a custom welcome sign for my cat. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, the checkup was reasonably priced, and we left with a thoughtful goodie bag full of helpful information.
