Jenna is the newest member of our veterinary team, joining us after practicing in both New Hampshire and Toronto since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in 2020. Originally from New York, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Colgate University in cellular neuroscience before pursuing veterinary medicine.
During her training, Jenna interned at the Smithsonian National Zoo and traveled to both Africa and Asia to volunteer with wildlife, including elephants, cheetahs, and primates. As a 2020 graduate, she was launched straight into the fast-paced world of veterinary medicine during the COVID-19 pandemic, gaining invaluable hands-on experience that she now brings to Shirlington.
Jenna lives by a motto she heard as she entered OVC: “Heal from the heart. Your results will surprise you.”
Outside of work, Jenna is a dancer and instructor of Brazilian Zouk, with experience in both Latin and ballroom dance styles. She shares her home with her dog, Marty McFly, and her cat, Gigi.
