Dr. Handerhan is a NoVa native and has lived in this area her whole life. Like Dr. Snelgrove, she also has a parent that is a veterinarian! Her mom has her own house call business and practices in the area. Dr. Handerhan completed her undergrad studies at Susquehanna University and went on to St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine to complete her veterinary studies. In her spare time, Dr. Handerhan loves to travel the world. She has been to Ireland (she actually lived there for a year!), Australia, Fiji, France, Holland, Nicaragua, Africa and various Caribbean islands to name a few places. When she is not traveling, she works for us part time and also works for her mom’s practice. She lives in Washington D.C. with her dog, Ryder (pictured) who usually comes to work with her!
